  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

  • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Klaviyo and Payfast.

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment method, email address, and phone number.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Frequently Asked Questions

After your payment has been verified you will receive an email confirming that your order is being processed. We take between 2-5 working days to ship out products that are in stock and readymade. Products that are made-to-measure (custom sized) and need to be manufactured take between 7-10 working days before they are shipped out. When your order has been shipped, our courier partner will communicate with you regarding delivery and we will also provide you with a shipment tracking number for you to track shipment updates on your own. Please note: 'readymade size' does not mean the product is in stock.

Shipping costs will be shown at checkout. Our standard rate is R60 for Gauteng and R159 for all other provinces. Please note however that shipping costs can vary depending on the product size. Over sized products such as long poles and large beds will incur additional shipping costs.

Please note: We cannot redirect or retrieve orders successfully delivered to an incorrect address. So, please ensure you carefully check your address details entered at checkout.

Change your address here!

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or a proof of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: custom-sized, made-to-measure, and customised items are not eligible for return unless in the event of damage/fault.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@matoc.co.za. If your return is accepted we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Returns arranged by us will incur a courier charge.

However, please note that items such as custom-sized products or those cut to a specific order are not eligible for return unless in the event of damage. This includes all fabrics, custom sized curtains, blinds, curtain rails, and curtain rods. Something not quite right with your order? Don’t worry, we are always ready to help. Email us at sales@matoc.co.za and advise us of your issue. We’ll endeavour to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately due to the diverse range of sizes we offer it is not possible to have all sizes in stock for each product. This means that readymade sized items may require production at our factory along with our made-to-measure (custom sized) items and will require a lead time of 7-10 working days.

We understand that each of our customers have different size requirements and that there is a price difference between made-to-measure (custom sized) items and readymade sized items. We have thus ensured that we kept readymade sized items as affordable as possible and they will also be eligible for return as per our 30 day return policy. Please refer to our return policy for returns and courier charges.

While we strive to accurately represent our products' colors in the images provided, please be aware that due to variations in monitor settings and lighting conditions, the colors you see on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product. We make every effort to ensure that the colors depicted are as close to the true product colors as possible, but slight discrepancies may occur. Rest assured, we are committed to delivering high-quality products, and we appreciate your understanding regarding any potential variations in color representation.
